Kalgoorlie to Menzies at Goongarrie - Grave markers and fenced off

SCHWAM – d. Dec 1894 – typhoid –came from Hawkes Nest – cared for at the hotel

SIMMS – d. Dec 1894 -came from Niagara -  This grave has historically been known as the grave of SIMMS

No death certificate issued in this name. It now seems that the persons name could really be John Walker TIMMS

TIMMS John Walker could be Simms died age 35 – Yilgarn death cert 490/1895

LONELY GRAVE – GOONGARRIE DISTRICT

LITTLE Thomas d. 7 Nov 1897 age 49 died of thirst 9 miles from Goongarrie on the old  Goongarrie Niagara Road – North Coolgardie death cert 74/1897

MACK Phil d. 14 Jul 1894 age 31 speared at Deadmans Soak buried at the site The old tin plaque was replaced with a replica plaque by the Eastern Goldfields

Historical Society in November 1991 –  Photographs of the EGHS trip to erect the new plaque, the original plaque is now in the collection of the Eastern Goldfields Historical Society.
