I took this photo of the one-roomed schoolhouse at Fimiston a week before it was demolished to make way for the Super Pit expansion. It was situated next to the KCGM offices at the time, it would have been about 15 yrs ago now  I would think. There were many of these one-roomed schools throughout Western Australia many of which now survive sometimes as homes and shops! — at Fimiston (Near Boulder).
